Interim evaluation of your habilitation

If an interim evaluation has been agreed upon in the target agreement, the progress of your habilitation project will be reviewed after two years. If necessary, the targets can be adjusted in a target amendment.

Your interim evaluation

  • The interim evaluation is usually carried out after two years.
  • Alternatively, you can apply to your academic mentors to have the interim evaluation moved forward if you have fulfilled the agreed requirements before the end of the two-year period.
  • Alternatively, the interim evaluation may be omitted if you and your academic mentors unanimously declare that the achievements specified in the target agreement will be accomplished in less than two years.
  • The results of the interim evaluation (PDF, 670 KB) should be recorded in a joint protocol and signed by all academic mentors and by you.
  • The executive mentor informs the dean's office of the result of the interim evaluation or the joint declaration that the evaluation has been waived.

If corrections to the original target agreement are necessary based on the interim evaluation, they can be specified in an target amendment (PDF, 207 KB).
